Who we are

Bubble Machine Rentals is a small bubble machine hire business operated by Jacques Arendt, based in Gqeberha / Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa.

What we collect

When you submit our enquiry form, we collect only the information you choose to share: your name, WhatsApp number, event date, event type, venue or location, preferred machine, quantity, rental days, bubble fluid preference, delivery preference, payment preference and any message or notes you add.

Why we collect it

We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, prepare your quotation and arrange your booking. We do not use it for marketing without your separate consent.

How we contact you

We respond by WhatsApp, phone call or email using the contact details you provide.

How your information is sent

This website does not store your enquiry in a database. When you submit the form, your message is opened in WhatsApp on your device so you can review and send it to us. WhatsApp (Meta) then handles the message in line with their own privacy terms.

Third parties

We do not sell or rent your information. We do not share it with third parties except where strictly necessary to deliver the service you have requested (for example, a courier if you arrange delivery), or where required by law.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Reviews, photographs and gallery submissions

If you send us a review or photographs through our Share Your Experience page, we collect your name and contact details, the review text, the photographs, and a record of the exact declarations you accepted, together with the date and time and the version of the wording shown to you.

Nothing you send is published automatically. Every review and every individual photograph stays private until a person has reviewed it, approved it and then separately chosen to publish it. Approval on its own does not put anything on the website.

When you submit photographs you give Bubble Machine Rentals permission to use any approved photographs on its website, its social media pages including Facebook and Instagram, and other Bubble Machine Rentals promotional or marketing material. This permission applies only to photographs that we approve for publication, and you may ask us to remove a published photograph at any time through our content removal request page.

Photographs are re-saved in your own browser before they reach us, which removes hidden camera and location information such as GPS coordinates. We check this again on our side and reject any image that still carries that data.

Photographs that may show children

We ask whether any submitted photograph shows a person under 18 years old, both for the submission as a whole and for each individual image. Where a child may be shown, the photograph can only be published if a legally competent person has given permission, a separate child-safety review has been completed by a moderator, and a manual confirmation has been recorded. These photographs are never published automatically and never published in bulk.

Storage and access

Submitted photographs are stored in private storage that is not publicly browsable. Only authorised administrators can view unpublished submissions. When a photograph is published, a separate public copy is created; unpublishing or restricting the photograph removes that copy immediately.

Withdrawing permission and removal requests

You may withdraw your permission or ask us to correct, unpublish or delete your content at any time, and you do not need to give a reason. Use our content removal request form or email info@bubblemachinerentals.co.za. Requests concerning a child are treated as urgent and matching published content is restricted immediately while we review the request.

How long we keep it

Rejected submissions and their photographs are deleted once the moderation decision has been recorded. Unpublished submissions that are never approved are removed during routine housekeeping. Published content is kept while permission remains in place. Our records of the declarations you accepted and of moderation decisions are kept as proof of lawful processing, even after the content itself is deleted.

Your rights (POPIA)

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will action your request.
